Lords are considering Brexit procrastination

The British House of Lords has begun the debate on a bill to exclude a hard Brexit on April 12. The House of Commons approved the proposal earlier with a majority of one vote.

The bill is intended to force the government to ask the European Union again to postpone the Brexit deadline. It can only take effect if the House of Lords, also known as the House of Lords, has also agreed. It is not inconceivable, according to British media, that Eurosceptic lords are trying to delay the process.

The British cannot unilaterally shift the Brexit deadline. All EU member states must give permission for a postponement. That happened once before. The United Kingdom should have left the European Union on March 29, but repeatedly failed to guide the agreement on the separation conditions through the Lower House.
