No more deposits and withdrawals in pounds at Binance

The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance no longer accepts deposits and withdrawals in pounds for customers in the UK.

The reason is that the British payment processor Paysafe, a major partner of Binance, stops its crypto wallet because of the “challenging British regulations”.

Binance already stopped deposits and withdrawals for new customers in the UK last week, and as of May 22, no customer can do that anymore.

Both Paysafe and Binance say the number of users is small, with less than one percent of users according to Binance.

‘We know that these services are appreciated by our users and our team is working hard to find an alternative solution for them. We will share updates on this as and when we are able, ” A Binance spokesperson told The Register.
