Parents replace meat and fruits with pasta due to the cost of living crisis

Parents with young children change their buying behaviour: 27 percent buy less meat against the background of the cost of living-maintenance, according to new research.

A study by Red Tractor and YouGov shows that 18 percent also buy less fruit and vegetables to save money. For 39 percent, meat has been replaced by carbohydrates such as bread and pasta to prevent their children from going hungry.
