Sainsbury’s cuts Arndale office jobs as supermarket giant outsources to India. Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s is cutting jobs at its Arndale office in the city centre to cut costs, it has confirmed. Instead, jobs are outsourced to locations such as India. Functions in the areas of food commercial, finance operations and people services and HR will be outsourced to Accenture, putting at least 300 jobs in the UK to sleep.
The company could not confirm how many of these 300 jobs are in their Arndale House Office while a consultation process is underway.
