AI version of the former Prime Minister Khan also declares victory in Pakistan. Khan, currently incarcerated, conveyed his message through an AI on X platform, following the example of his rival Sharif, in claiming success in the parliamentary elections.

“I maintained my belief in you. The remarkable voter turnout has left a significant impact on everyone. No force can hinder our progress,” reassured the message, imitating Khan’s voice, to his supporters. “Do not succumb to fear. Let us celebrate this moment.”

With 90 percent of the votes tallied, Khan’s supporters have secured 98 seats in parliament. However, due to his PTI party’s disqualification by the Supreme Court from participating in the elections, all seats are considered those of independent parliamentarians.

The PML-N led by Sharif, with 67 seats, is officially the largest party. “Now that we have received this mandate, we will form a government to bring an end to the chaos,” he stated. He has tasked his brother with seeking coalition partners, including the PPI, the third party with 51 seats.

Khan finds it embarrassing that Sharif is seemingly on track to become the prime minister.

“No one in Pakistan will accept this,” declared his AI message, presented as his official response on his X account.

The direction of this power struggle remains uncertain. What is clear is that the military will play a significant role, even if indirectly. The military holds substantial influence over the country’s government, and many analysts believe that the army supports Sharif’s return to power.

In the lead-up to the election, the 71-year-old Khan faced three separate prison sentences for leaking state secrets, corruption, and an illegal marriage. He dismisses these charges as part of a political witch hunt.

The violence surrounding the election has claimed over 25 lives. The EU has urged Pakistan to investigate allegations of fraud and sabotage during the elections.
