Bangladesh builds new airport for exporting vegetables to Europe and UK

Bangladesh’s Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali has said that since vegetables grown in Bangladesh are in great demand in Europe and the UK, a new airport is being built to export them. He claims that many rich countries are contacting the government to import vegetables from Bangladesh.

He continued: “Bangladesh is praised abroad for the successful governance of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister’s dynamic leadership and long-term plan has revolutionized the economic sector, including the implementation of the SDGs, education, health, agriculture, poverty reduction, life expectancy and export-oriented industrialization. The Padma Bridge, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, Payra Deep Seaport and Dhaka Metrorail are on track to be implemented.”
