OECD report shows clear signs of stagnation in the bloc’s economy

Economic growth in the area of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) declined slightly in the third quarter of this year. The OECD writes this in a report.

According to preliminary OECD estimates, growth went up to 0.3 percent from 0.4 percent in the previous quarter. Stable growth of 1.6 percent was recorded on an annual basis.

There was a clear slowdown in growth within the G7 in Japan. Growth was stable in the United States, France and Italy, as well as in the entire eurozone. In Great Britain and Germany, the economy picked up after a fall in the second quarter. For the entire European Union, growth was 0.3 percent, compared to 0.2 percent in the previous period.
