Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) chip manufacturer is investing in research of the technical possibilities of chip technology for 2 nanometer circuits, chairman Mark Liu said. He wants TSMC to further boost innovations in the sector.
TSMC started a mass production of 7 nanometer chips last year. The production of 5 nanometer chips is expected in the middle of next year. Experts expect 3 nanometer chips in 2022.
