Andriy Dovbenko, 37, a top-ranked Ukrainian lawyer, is on a mission to facilitate a technology exchange between the United Kingdom and Ukraine. His efforts are focused on building bridges between the two ecosystems to unleash their commercial potential and accelerate innovation.
Dovbenko’s initiative aims to support early-stage startups specialising in defense and agriculture solutions. Drawing upon his extensive experience in the legal and investment sectors, Andriy Dovbenko is determined to leverage the growing trust and ever-tight relations between the two nations.
Andriy said: ‘I have lived in the Uk for the past four years and the level of interest towards Ukraine and its business potential is at the highest level. Importantly, Ukraine is increasingly seen as an equal partner in providing growth opportunities for the UK companies. I believe there is potential in showing British startups what Ukraine can offer.’

Andriy Dovbenko has moved to the UK in 2019 and resides in London with his wife and four children. Andriy has built a successful career in law spanning over 15 years. Graduate of the prestigious Kyiv Mohyla Academy, he spent cumulatively 4 years in legal roles at the Big Four. Later, Andriy founded EVRIS law firm which, for several years, was recognised as on of the top 20 law firms in Ukraine. He then turned his focus to investments, by launching EVRIS Invest and EVRIS Asset Management Company, focusing on private equity and venture capital investments.
